How do I pay for my ticket/citation?

Tickets may be paid online, by phone at 1-866-890-2807 or by mail using the addressed envelope included in your citation. You may also pay in-person at the Coastal Bank & Trust located at 125 West Romana St., Pensacola, FL 32502 (View Map). Please note that payments cannot be accepted at the Parking Management office.

How long do I have to pay my parking ticket?

Your ticket must be postmarked or paid within 72 business hours. Business hours exclude Saturdays, Sundays and all national holidays. To ensure that a penalty isn't issued because of a problem with transit, the postmark will be used to determine the date of receipt.

What if I don’t pay within 72 hours?

If a payment is not postmarked or paid within 72 business hours, a late penalty equal to the amount of the citation will be assessed. Once the initial late penalty is assessed the amount due will not increase again.

My ticket has $0.00 for the amount due. What does this mean?

If you receive a citation with amount due of zero and "Warning Ticket" printed at the bottom, you have been issued first-offense Warning Ticket. No fee is issued at this time. However, a subsequent violation will result in a parking ticket with a charge.

Why did I get a warning ticket?

At the discretion of the ticketing officer, warning tickets may be issued to first-time offenders to alert them to the fact that a parking rule has been violated. Warning citations may be written for violations such as parking in commercial loading zones, staying in a free parking spot beyond the allotted time and expired meters. Parking Patrol Officers enforce parking regulations daily. Please read all parking signs and notices before you park.

What do I do about a registration hold?

To release a Registration Hold, you must come to 41 North Jefferson St., Suite 401, Pensacola, FL 32501 (View Map) to pay for the release. Only cash or money order will be accepted.

I parked in a paid lot or garage. Can my parking be validated?

Absolutely. Dozens of downtown retailers participate in our Parking Validation Program. Please click here for information about the program and a list of participants.

How are parking fees used?

All funds produced by the parking authority are used or put back into the parking system. Funds generated by parking fees within the District provide the only resources to pay for the following items at the parking facilities:

  • maintenance and upkeep
  • utilities
  • trash disposal
  • signage placement
  • capital improvements
  • security
  • administration
  • enforcement
  • repair and replacement of facilities and equipment

Since no direct distribution of funds or financial subsidies are provided by the City of Pensacola, Escambia County, or the State of Florida to help pay for these items, the parking facilities and on-street spaces must generate enough revenue to fund the operational costs, preserve access to the public, and enhance the availability of parking in downtown Pensacola.
