where to park
on-street parking
There are 7,075 free or metered on-street spaces available throughout downtown. When parking on streets, remember to park in the same direction as traffic flow for your own safety as well as other drivers and pedestrians and to avoid a citation. Also in order to avoid a citation, please be sure to feed the meter.
On-street parking meters are active from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meters in the off-street parking lots are active all days and all times.

- Park in designated parking spaces
- Obey all posted signage
- Do not park in loading zones
- Don't stop in the traffic lane
- Park in the direction of the nearest traffic lane (do not cross traffic in order to park)
- Park in the same direction as traffic flow
